Hi. Once again, I am writing about my week. But I like to keep it fresh, and each week so far, is quite a lot like the other. So now I jazz it up a bit. Now, unlike before, when I would decode the title message as we go, I am going to tell the first two up front. The last one though, remains a surprise. We’ll go out with a bang!
Ok. The first word, write, is poetry. Another addition to the wolf saga. For the second word, spell, I am going to share with you my spelling sentences. For the third word, sci- hey! Wait a minute! I’m not going to tell you! Ha-ha!
Out of courtesy for all, please turn off all pagers and cell phones. Picture taking during the blog, even if on cell phones is prohibited. Please sit back, relax, and enjoy the blog!
So, here is my poem. Hope you like it!
Now my darling,
Settle in,
In the place
I told you we’d win
The pack we defeated
Now is gone,
And we sing
This victory song.
Come join us
At the howling rock
There the hunters,
We will mock.
There will be
festivity,
Play time,
And activity.
The hunting wolves have
Caught many a bunny
We will laugh and tell
Many jokes that are funny.
The big full moon
will light our party
It’s almost time now,
don’t be tardy.
We must celebrate
Our new home,
All thee new animals and plants,
In our new biome.
Hurry now,
We must not miss
The howling time,
And the bliss.
Settle in,
In the place
I told you we’d win
The pack we defeated
Now is gone,
And we sing
This victory song.
Come join us
At the howling rock
There the hunters,
We will mock.
There will be
festivity,
Play time,
And activity.
The hunting wolves have
Caught many a bunny
We will laugh and tell
Many jokes that are funny.
The big full moon
will light our party
It’s almost time now,
don’t be tardy.
We must celebrate
Our new home,
All thee new animals and plants,
In our new biome.
Hurry now,
We must not miss
The howling time,
And the bliss.
Anyway, now I tell you my sentences.
“Excuse me girls, but that is a restricted area.” it was one of the discovery place workers speaking. “oh sorry” was all we would respond. We backed up. As a result, the lady looked at us once more, and walked off. M.S. and I exchanged looks. The people of discovery place had restored and redesigned the rooms, but on the map we didn’t see this area recorded. We were just coming out of the bathroom area, when we saw an opening in the wall. As far as we could see, a dark tunnel extended. We inhaled and exhaled deeply. At precisely 5:00 pm, the place would close, and all the workers would leave. But we, would stay. Just then, another worker started our way. We quickly started looking at the microscopes. “afternoon ma’ams” he said. “good afternoon” we replied, Trying to act casual, and he was buying it. We said “have fun!” and walked off to the food court. We saw the aquarium program kids walk out of their room led by a teacher. “the gift shop is now closed” a voice said. We snuck back to the tunnel. “we close in 5 minutes” a man said to us. “you and your mom better make your way to the exit” he must have thought our mom was in the bathroom. She wasn’t. “oh we will, we just wanna see the wolf fur and the rhino head one last time. That was all the info we would provide. He rebuked our answer, and considered it “back-talk”. but he walked off. Our mom was off to profess “puppies for sale!” she had dropped us off. Her friend was supposed to pick us up. She didn’t. so we were all prepared to sneak into the tunnel. We recovered from our shock of the tunnel getting bigger, and revived our enthusiasm. We started into the tunnel. What lie beyond it? No-one could predict!
So, you like it? Well, now it is time for the secret to be revealed. This week, M.S. came over. And we went somewhere. Where did we go? 5...4...3...2...1...the Science Museum! oh yeah! And it was a blast! Ok, so the first thing we did when we got there, was in the parking lot. M.S. and I climbed out of the car, and into the trunk! LOL!
We walked inside, and got our wrist bands on. Next, we headed over to the fun stuff! The first thing we saw when we entered, was a display of different animal skins, and animals (stuffed).
Then, we went over to the aquarium.
We saw so many different animals. But before we could enter the main aquarium, we went to the rainforest show. A man brought out three animals. One eight-legged, one four-legged, and one no-legged. Yes 8 legs, is spider, but not just any kind. Tarantula! The next was a turtle, and a snake.
After the rainforest, we went to an area called “cool stuff”. there was this levitating chair, a chair you had to pull yourself up on, levitating balls, and more. There was also a bed of nails.
Then we went to a place where you could build your own house. Next a place where you build an animal shelter. After that, we went to the second rainforest exhibit. We got to cross a bridge made out of net. It hung over the actual rainforest exhibit! The birds and animals could just run or fly by! It was really cool!
Second to last, we headed over to the kiddie area so that baby could play.
Last, we visited the discovery place souvenir shop. Baby had fun throwing around a stuffed lizard. I got a mood stone turtle necklace. After the gift shop, it was time to leave. But surely, we will try to do this again soon!
