Everyone, this blog is going to be fun
for you to read, and for me to write.
First, for the past two weeks, I have
been ending school at hours later than I should, sometimes seven or
eight o'clock at night! I have tried to work faster, but for some
reason, it just took me forever! My mom came up with the perfect
solution! A schedule. When I first started homeschooling, I
wanted to be able to do what I wanted when I wanted, but now that's
not the case. My mom created a schedule so that at 9:00 I do this, at
9:15 I do this, and so on. That way, I know when I will finish
school! Or at least an estimate. If I am not done with the subject at
the right time, I have to bump it to the end of the day for
'homework'. So far, I’ve been finishing school at early afternoon
hours, which gives me time to do what I want! It's great! This is my
last subject today, and it's only 2:30 on the dot!
Another exciting thing is that my
sister came last weekend! Together, we went to see the Broadway show
The Lion King! It was fabulous! I can't even begin to describe how
fascinating it was! The costumes were absolutely stunning, the set
work was out-of-this-world, and the actors were extremely talented!
There wasn't a minute during the play that I thought “that part
could have been better.” I loved it! They had great effects as
well. There were times actors were up in the air on wires or even
swinging on 'vines' across the stage. Sometimes, when you are an
actor, set worker, or even director, you watch plays differently from
before you were in the theater. You look for things like “how does
that work”, “how did they make the costume”, “where is the
sound coming from”, and “that person is projecting their voice
well”. That's how I watch plays now. I still enjoy watching them,
but I don't only watch it for entertainment. This show provided great
entertainment and a chance for me to figure out how they made the
things. It was a wonderful experience.
This week, I've gotten much better at
my handwriting. I used to have very sloppy cursive, but now some of
the letters my mom mistook for the ones in the book!

Can you tell which ones are mine and
which are the book's?
Well, I’ve had fun writing this blog,
and I hope you've had fun reading it, but now I am going to sign off
and enjoy my weekend! I hope you enjoy yours! Here we go.....till
next time, BYE!!!!!!!!!!
